Digital Writing Center: Student Guidelines & Terms of Use

Submission Timeline

  • Papers must be submitted at least 72 hours before the assignment due date.
  • Submissions received fewer than 72 hours before the deadline may not be reviewed.

Academic Responsibility

  • Submitting a paper to the Digital Writing Center does not replace submitting the assignment to your instructor.
  • Students are responsible for meeting all course deadlines and requirements.
  • Use of the Writing Center does not excuse late submissions or override instructor policies.

Scope of Feedback

The Digital Writing Center provides formative feedback, which may include:

  • Guidance on thesis and purpose
  • Suggestions for organization and clarity
  • Source integration and citation guidance

The Writing Center does not:

  • Proofread or edit papers
  • Write or rewrite content for students
  • Provide feedback intended to determine grades

Academic Integrity

All work submitted must be the student’s own. Writing Center feedback is designed to support learning and does not replace original authorship or academic responsibility.


Service Availability

Services are subject to availability and volume. The Writing Center reserves the right to limit submissions to ensure equitable access for all students.
