What are the library's hours?

Our regular hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Extended hours apply once a semester — check our homepage for updates.

Where is the library located?

The Miami Regional University Library is located on the 9th floor on campus.

How can I contact the library?

How do I access online databases and journals?

You can access our online resources through the Stack platform using your university credentials.

Can I check out books and other materials?

Yes! Students, faculty, and staff can borrow books, textbooks, and multimedia items.

Does the library offer interlibrary loans?

At this time, interlibrary loan services are not available, but we can help you find alternative resources.

Are there computers and printers available?

Yes! We have computers for research and writing, as well as printers for academic use. Printing fees apply — check the Printing & Copying section for more details.

Can I reserve a study room?

Yes! Study rooms can be reserved online or at the circulation desk. Reservations are first-come, first-served.

Are there quiet study areas in the library?

Absolutely! We have designated quiet zones for individual study and collaborative spaces for group work.

How can I get research help?

Our librarians are here to help! Visit the Research Help Desk during library hours, or schedule a one-on-one consultation through our website.

Does the library offer workshops or classes?

Yes! We host workshops on research strategies, citation styles, and using library databases. Check the Events page for upcoming sessions.

How do I connect to the library's Wi-Fi?

Use your university login to connect to the "MRU-Student" Wi-Fi network. 

Is there remote access to library resources?

Yes! All digital resources, including e-books, journals, and databases, are available remotely through Stacks.

What is the library’s late fee policy?

Overdue items may incur a daily fee. Details on loan periods and fines are available on our Borrowing Policy page.

Can I eat or drink in the library?

Covered drinks are allowed, but food is not permitted. Help us keep the library clean!
